Editor/Author Biographies
Vojo Bubevski comes from Berovo in Macedonia where he completed the primary and secondary school. He graduated from the University of Zagreb, Croatia in 1977, with a degree in Electrical Engineering - Computer Science and Informatics. He started his professional career in 1978 as an Analyst Programmer at Alkaloid Pharmaceuticals, Skopje in Macedonia. At Alkaloid, he worked on applying Operations Research methods to solve commercial and pharmaceutical technology problems from 1982 to 1986. For these applications, he developed his own software for optimisation including linear and non-linear programming, dual algorithm and integer programming. In this period, he was a part-time lecturer at the “Koco Racin” Open University in Skopje, for which he published a couple of textbooks. Since 2007, he has been doing practical research in applications of Risk & Decision Analysis and providing consulting services on the subject. His work evolved and resulted in a new generic and practical Six Sigma approach to Risk Management. IGI Global published his first book on application of the Six Sigma approach to Risk Management across industries. In this book, he presents the application of this approach in financial risk management.
