Jennifer K. Young Wallace

Jennifer Young Wallace is a tenured Associate Professor/Coordinator of the Doctoral Program of Educational Leadership for the College of Education and Human Development at Jackson State University. Wallace was recently elected President 2025 for the Association of Teacher Educators, where she served as a Board Member (2019-2022) and Chair of the Legislative Government Relations Committee (2021-2023). She serves on a national research team with college professors across America, researching k-12 teachers’ perceptions of their own pedagogy. She was selected as a national evaluator of education programs in universities in the United States, where she travels to evaluate colleges’ performance on educational standards. She consults with educational agencies/organizations on issues in education that lead to building educational frameworks, policies, and standards. She has developed numerous educational after-school programs for k-6. She was name one of MS’s top businesswomen by the MS Business Journal. She was the recipient of the 2023 Educational Award presented by The Mississippi Women for Progress. She presents her research and speaks at numerous national conferences.
