Derrick L. Bullard

Derrick Bullard is a Lecturer in the Department of Health, Physical and Secondary Education and serves as the Assistant Chair for the Department. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sports Science and a Master of Arts in Teaching in Physical Education from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. Mr. Bullard is pursuing his Education Doctorate with a concertation in Higher Education from Fayetteville State University. Most recently, he was a Physical Educator Teacher at Cumberland County Schools and Fitness Specialist at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. He has advocated for developing young athletes through coaching, teaching, and community involvement in recreation programs for ten years.
