Introduction

Bridging Global Divides for Transnational Higher Education in the AI Era" examines the transformative role of artificial intelligence in reshaping education across borders. This edited volume gathers insights from leading academics and practitioners who explore AI's potential to enhance educational methodologies, address administrative challenges, and promote inclusivity within transnational higher education. It also addresses the ethical considerations, such as data privacy and cultural identity, necessary for leveraging technology to improve educational outcomes and equip institutions for a digitized global economy. This book aims to foster a model of education that is both globally connected and locally relevant, highlighting the importance of trust and innovation in the AI-driven educational landscape.

Objective

Bridging Global Divides for Transnational Higher Education in the AI Era" explores the transformative impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on transnational higher education (TNE), enhancing accessibility and inclusivity in learning worldwide. Across 25 chapters, the book delves into AI's capabilities to transcend language barriers and develop globally relevant curricula, along with practical applications, ethical considerations, and innovative solutions. It serves as a foundational resource, encouraging new research, guiding policymakers and educational leaders, and providing educators with methods to improve teaching and engagement with diverse student bodies. Submission Procedure

Researchers and practitioners are invited to submit on or before June 9, 2024, a chapter proposal of 1,000 to 2,000 words clearly explaining the mission and concerns of his or her proposed chapter. Authors will be notified by June 23, 2024 about the status of their proposals and sent chapter guidelines.Full chapters are expected to be submitted by September 1, 2024, and all interested authors must consult the guidelines for manuscript submissions at https://www.igi-global.com/publish/contributor-resources/before-you-write/ prior to submission. All submitted chapters will be reviewed on a double-anonymized review basis. Contributors may also be requested to serve as reviewers for this project.

Note: There are no submission or acceptance fees for manuscripts submitted to this book publication, Bridging Global Divides for Transnational Higher Education in the AI Era. All manuscripts are accepted based on a double-anonymized peer review editorial process.
