Introduction

The business strategy for the hospitality and tourism industries has seen significant transformations in the 21st century due to market volatility and technological advances. This industry stands at the threshold of a technological revolution because of its competitive nature. Over the past few years, rapid advancements in artificial intelligence (AI), data analytics, and emerging technologies have reshaped hospitality and tourism. From personalized guest experiences to streamlined operations and sustainable tourism practices, these innovations are redefining the essence of hospitality and tourism. This edited volume, "Impact of AI in Tech-Driven Solutions in Hospitality and Tourism," endeavors to delve into the profound impact of AI and technology in this ever-evolving industry. The world of hospitality and tourism is inherently dynamic, with businesses constantly seeking innovative ways to cater to the evolving demands of travelers. Historically, the industry has embraced technology to enhance the guest experience and optimize operations. However, the recent surge in AI and tech-driven solutions has introduced a new dimension to this transformation. The overarching theme of this book is to explore how AI and technology are catalyzing change across various facets of the hospitality and tourism sectors. We aim to comprehensively overview the latest developments, challenges, and opportunities in this rapidly evolving landscape.

Objective

This edited collection, titled " Impact of AI and Tech-Driven Solutions in Hospitality and Tourism," aims to do just that by providing a thorough and up-to-date examination of the revolutionary effects of AI and technology-driven breakthroughs in the hospitality and tourism sector. We have set a series of smaller goals to help us reach this larger goal: To provide cutting-edge data, analysis, and examples of AI and tech's impact on the hotel and tourist industries. To demonstrate how artificial intelligence (AI) and other technologies have been successfully applied to the business world. To discuss the difficulties and moral questions raised by the widespread use of AI and technology in the hospitality and hospitality industry. To motivate creative problem-solving by showcasing the latest findings and developments in the field. To highlight the importance of technology in encouraging environmentally responsible behavior among hotel and resort operators. Finally, the goal is to get researchers, business leaders, and technologists to talk to each other and work together. This book facilitates communication between key players and increases awareness of the connections between technological advancements and the hospitality and tourist industries.

Target Audience

This edited volume, titled "Impact of AI and Tech-Driven Solutions in Hospitality and Tourism," is designed to appeal to a wide variety of industry professionals, academics, researchers, students, and stakeholders interested in the intersection of technology and the hospitality and tourism industry. Submission Procedure

Researchers and practitioners are invited to submit on or before May 26, 2024, a chapter proposal of 1,000 to 2,000 words clearly explaining the mission and concerns of his or her proposed chapter. Authors will be notified by June 9, 2024 about the status of their proposals and sent chapter guidelines.Full chapters are expected to be submitted by July 28, 2024, and all interested authors must consult the guidelines for manuscript submissions at https://www.igi-global.com/publish/contributor-resources/before-you-write/ prior to submission. All submitted chapters will be reviewed on a double-anonymized review basis. Contributors may also be requested to serve as reviewers for this project.
