IGI Global Sponsors the International Conference on Electronic Health (ICEH)IGI Global is a proud sponsor of the International Conference on Electronic Health (ICEH) in Tehran, Iran, from November 29-30, 2012. This conference is an opportunity for medical academicians and practitioners to discuss and debate the evolution of e-health. The program will include presentations of selected papers, lectures by acclaimed scientists and researchers, and round table discussions and workshops. Institutions will have a chance to display their work and activities in the conference exhibition areas.

E-health is a key element in the Iranian government’s broad health reform agenda. It will bring revolutionary improvements in health care for all Iranians. Over time it will touch and transform every aspect of health care, bringing benefits to consumers and clinicians alike, offering exciting new opportunities for the industry.

Several workshops in the area of e-Health will be featured at this conference. Among them, the United Nations University- International Institute of Global Health (UNU-IIGH) will present a workshop entitled “Open Source Hospital Information Systems (HIS)”. Certificates will be awarded to each participant upon the successful completion of the workshop.
