IGI Global Continues to Disseminate Timely Research and Knowledge at the 2019 UKSG 42nd Annual Conference

Reinforcing our mission to disseminate the most timely, peer-reviewed research and ensure quality content is easily available to the worldwide academic community, IGI Global will be exhibiting at booth #100 at the upcoming 2019 UKSG 42nd Annual Conference and Exhibition in Telford, UK, on April 8-10, 2019.

In addition to sharing IGI Global’s latest, emerging publications and research with the academic community, Mr. Nick Newcomer, Director of Marketing, and Ms. Caroline Campbell, Marketing Manager, will represent the international academic publisher at the conference, showcasing to librarians how IGI Global is meeting the call for Open Access (OA) publishing.

Firmly believing that libraries should not have to stop their subscriptions in order to reallocate funds to support their faculty in publishing OA, we have launched an initiative that offers this “one package.”

Well in advance of Plan S, IGI Global provides libraries with the opportunity to support a sustainable OA movement by offering an additional source of article processing charges (APCs) through IGI Global's Open Access (OA) Fee Waiver (Offset Model) Initiative which:

    When any library invests in one of IGI Global's InfoSci-Databases, consisting of InfoSci-Books (4,500+ e-books), InfoSci-Journals (185+ e-journals) and/or smaller subject and discipline-focused publications, IGI Global will match the library’s investment with a fund of equal value to go toward subsidizing the OA APCs for their students, faculty, and staff at that institution when their work is submitted and accepted under OA into an IGI Global journal.**

IGI Global’s InfoSci-Books database is offered for an annual subscription (2000-2019) as low as US$ 8,580 US$ 6,435* (perpetual purchase for current copyright year (2019) offered as low as: US$ 17,500 US$ 13,125*), and InfoSci-Journals is offered for an annual subscription (2000-2019) as low as US$ 5,100 US$ 3,825* (perpetual purchase for current volume year (2019) offered as low as: US$ 5,000 US$ 3,750*), ensuring that institutions are able to take advantage of this initiative as well as provide their institution with resources that span across 350+ topics in 11 core subjects including business, computer science, education, engineering, social sciences, and more.

*InfoSci-Books US$ 6,435 annual subscription price and InfoSci-Journals US$ 3,825 annual subscription price are only available to new customers through IGI Global’s Library Account Program, and cannot be combined with most offers or multi-site use. Perpetual purchase option reflects InfoSci-Books 2019 (600+ titles) and all InfoSci-Journals issues released in 2019 pricing for existing customers.

**The Open Access (OA) fund will be offered on an annual basis and expire at the end of the subscription period and will renew as the subscription is renewed for each year thereafter. The open access fees will be waived after the student, faculty, or staff’s paper has been vetted/accepted into an IGI Global journal upon request by the author(s) of the paper. Libraries in developing countries will have the match on their investment doubled.
