IGI Global Announces New China Office

Hershey, PA, May 17, 2019 – As part of IGI Global’s continued commitment to its library customers, researchers, and partners in China, IGI Global recently opened a subsidiary operation in China, called “IGI Science and Technology, Ltd.” This China-based subsidiary of IGI Global is led by Ms. Yvonne Li, the Managing Director of IGI Science and Technology, Ltd., who brings extensive experience and leadership from her years of involvement in the publishing industry in China, having worked for other major international publishers in China for more than 15 years.

“With the establishment of this new operation, IGI Global is looking to continue its commitment to the academic and research community in China by providing timely and quality research-based publications in 11 academic subject areas including information science and technology. Our ultimate goal is to offer the most innovative and highest quality publications in emerging research areas to our Chinese customers and to make sure we support their mission of staying up-to-date with all emerging trends and innovations taking place in the research and academic community,” stated Dr. Mehdi Khosrow-Pour, President and CEO of IGI Global.

The new IGI Global operation in China supports the promotion of IGI Global’s fast-growing portfolio of 5,300+ reference books, 185+ scholarly journals, and expansive line of databases. Ms. Yvonne Li also supports IGI Global’s long-standing relationships with esteemed Chinese partners, book and journal distributors, and agents, while continuing to develop collaborations with IGI Global’s network of Chinese librarians and academic stakeholders.
