Abstract

Social organizations by the nature of their activities play a fundamental role with communities. The use of information and communication technologies enhances this objective towards the provision of services to increasingly integrated citizens. The article presents a module of multidisciplinary prototype and information aggregator to support the management of the provision of services of a social organization. The research methodology adopted is design science research, given the specificity of the problem. Requirements models, data models, system architecture, and finally, the design of the multidisciplinary prototype are presented. The conceptualization of the prototype aims to contribute to the management of the assertiveness of a part of the city in order to be able to optimize the management of a community neighborhood in several valences including conditions of habitability and to contribute to promoting smart governance.

Background

The literature review is based on the context of the problem proposed in this chapter, where themes related to Smart Cities and Smart Governance and de ICT role. Given the specificity of the study, this will be framed in a strategic context to link the recovery of historical heritage and consequently the housing recovery of a small neighborhood in a city with historical heritage.
