Abstract

The authors try in this article to clarify the importance of neo-pragmatism experience associated with hermuntical interpretation in Rorty's philosophy. As he rejects the religious existing in his literality, and he moves to a different case, that characterized by the emotional side, Rorty puts modern concept of religion; in meaning, Rorty moves the religion from sacred dictionary to social dictionary, rejecting the principle of monotheism in the faith, and tries to make the religion case reach to the pluralism between love, hope, desirability, and solidarity.

The Concept Of Postmodern Pluralism

Rorty's criticism varied about the traditional Christians religion introducing the solidarity against the holiness in the frame of his criticizing the subjectivity and desirability continuing his criticism series to the Christian religion axioms having advanced the pluralism as a competitive new pole to the monotheism. This transition from monotheism to pluralism raised two inquiries before us: the first, is how did Rorty criticize the link between the traditional religious presence with both monotheism and religion, the second ?? how did the new religion presence has been related with the pluralism rorty thinks that the state of the new religious presence is a pluralism one because our whole life is just an expression of variety and plurality and the expedient religion itself occupied a considerable space in our life and future, so, it was necessary to present a description of the pluralism nature characteristics of the relation between Rorty's criticism to the monotheism conception and the abandoning necessity of superficial misleading understanding which presented got and religion as monotheism and between Rorty's adopting the pluralism conception after emerging new distinction like the relationalism, infinite, not parting, meaninglessness and the pluralism, too.

This indicates that the pluralism infection, after modernism, has hurt the religion presence in depth, so, it was important to clarify this hermeneutics transition in order to be able to offer a definition to the pluralism state and a description to the pluralism presence of the new religion and their impacts on the (inner soul of humanity) human being soul. Although it worthy to mention the appearance of many invitations since renaissance which claim to have religious pluralism done, but the content of these ones was a part different from what Rorty meant, for the religious pluralism determined the principle of accepting all religious as Judaism Christianity and Islam. This means to believe the authentication and legalism of each religion without any sense of religious intolerance towards any of them, while the pluralism of Rorty shows itself as the Christian religion representing by love, hope, solidarity and desirability, in addition to the individual belief of the importance of each one of new religion as the solid pragmatic connection is also clarified between these characteristics according to the base of relationism idea. This means that each quality of them as love is defined and based by other qualities like desirability under the stand of Rorty's project of modernizing the religion being made therefore, Rorty critizies the theology structure of the Christian religion which is founded on the monotheism standard including the main idea of the hypostasis of trinity and reconsider hermonticaly what is said in the Bible about the God monotheism “those who testify in the sky are three, father, son and holy spirit and those they are just one” (The first letter of John the Apostle 7:5).

Starting from this essential saying in the holy scripture, Rorty starts his refusal to the doctrine of the trinity which leads the individual to the trust in only one god. Because if the idea of monotheism was the pre-condition to have the truth, the Rorty new pragmatics speech came rejecting this idea as a leading way to the theological fact is not positioned in the monotheism doctrine as it's not also easy for Rorty to admit that the whole religious truth is existed just in one essence but it is lied in multi-ones and this what Van Der Hog has drawn out in his book “Rorty and theology in a dialogue”. He says: “pluralism is a fact which neither the believer nor the theology could escape from it” (Van der Hoog, 2008:66), for the variety of the truth forms and its stages differences don't make any differences from the varity of live forms and its various typs. Thus, if the religion is a fact and the fact itself is pluralism the religion will be pluralism swinging among the hope, love, solidarity and desirability instead of its being absolute metaphysic and defined by a monotheism dimention. The monotheism image of religion could be explained interpreted and purified from the heritages of the early ages to accord with the present time.
