Abstract

Cloud computing is growing wide and first-rate promising technology. There are three forms of cloud computing: infrastructure as a service (IaaS), software as a service (SaaS), and platform as a service (PaaS). There are many cloud service providers. Among these, AWS (Amazon Web Service), Azure (Microsoft Cloud), IBM Cloud, Oracle Cloud, and VMware are immensely popular. In this paper, the authors study the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and a few principally used popular services. Google Cloud Platform could be a cloud provider; they supply servers and services that are used on-demand and at scale. Google Cloud Platform is the fastest growing cloud service supplier now.

2. Overview Of Cloud Computing

Computing could be a model involving of services that are delivered in a very manner to traditional utilities like water, electricity, etc. Users access services and resources using this paradigm, irrespective of where the services are located or how they are delivered to users. Delivery of this utility computing has promised a computing paradigm like Cloud computing. The cloud computing architecture consists of three layers of services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS). Therefore, the cloud clients comprise elements and software for delivering the application and the cloud services. Cloud computing is gaining attention and recognition within the computing industry. Cloud computing might be a concept for solutions to solve, easy, on-demand network access to a shared pool of programmable computing resources that can be deployed and released quickly and easily. This can be the meaning of cloud computing as per the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) taxonomy (Architecting the Cloud, n.d.)[3]. The cloud computing platforms supplied by AWS, Azure, and GCP have five key qualities, three service types, and four deployment models.

                 SaaS                  PaaS                    IaaS
It is a Licensed Software on Demand Service, which means available at any time or ready to use.
It is used by End User Services Like, Email, Google Suit (Docs, Sheet, Slide), Virtual PC, CRM Software, Games, Facebook, Twitter
In this model, the software can be built and deployed in the cloud.
It is used by Application Developer Services Execution, Instant Messaging (IM), App Development, Integration, Databases like MySQL, Web Servers like Apache Tomcat, Google Firebase
It has on-demand access to cloud- hosted servers like Physical & Virtual. Also, it is a lot of collection of Computer Resources & Network Devices.
It is used in Infra with Network Architect Services, Virtual Storages, Virtual Server, Load Balancer & System Management
