The majority of international students come from countries where English is not the official language. Language is apparently the biggest barrier for them to interact in classrooms, write research papers, develop international friendship, and get involved into a variety of campus activities. In this section, I mainly focus on discussing the impact of English language proficiency on academic performance and attainments.
