Zoubir Mammeri

Zoubir Mammeri is a Professor of Computer science and engineering at Paul Sabatier University, Toulouse, France since 1996. He received his Ph.D. in 1985 in Real-time distributed systems form National Polytechnic Institute of Lorraine (INPL), Nancy, France. Then he received his “habilitation to supervise researches” in 1995 from the same university. From 1983 to 1996, he was a member of CRIN (Centre of Research in Informatics of Nancy). He was Director of Le Havre Informatics Lab (LIH) in 1996-1998. In 1998, he joined the IRIT (Institute of Research in Informatics at Toulouse). From 2005 to 2011 he was leading the ASTRE (Architectures, Real-time and Embedded Systems, and Networks) research group at IRIT. Since 2011, he is the leader of T2RS (Real-Time in Systems and Networks) group. So far, he has been the General chair of six international conferences. He is member of the editorial board of four journals. He served on the TPC of more than 100 international conferences. He was involved in a dozen of industrial and academic projects. He has co-authored six books and over 100 papers in refereed journals and conferences in the fields of real-time systems and communication networks. His research interests include: quality of service, QoS-based routing, packet scheduling, mobile ad hoc networks, sensor networks, security in sensor and vehicular networks, real-time systems, and task scheduling. He is an IEEE senior member and he is a member of IFIP TC6 WG.8.
