Panagiotis G. Asteris

Panagiotis G. Asteris is an associate professor and head of the Computational Mechanics Laboratory at the School of Pedagogical & Technological Education, Athens, Greece. He received BS, MS and PhD degrees in civil engineering from the National Technical University of Athens, Athens, Greece. His research focuses on computational structural engineering, applied and computational mathematics and masonry material and structures. Professor Asteris is the author/editor of three books in structural engineering. He is also the editor-in-chief of the Open Construction and Building Technology Journal, Bentham Science Publishers, and has authored more than 80 articles published in various conference proceedings and scholarly journals.
