Mostafa Hefnawi

Mostafa Hefnawi received his Ph.D. in electrical engineering from Laval University, Quebec, in 1998. In 1999, he joined the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Royal Military College of Canada (RMC), Kingston, ON, where he is currently a Full Professor. His research interests include MIMO radar, massive MIMO, hybrid beamforming, multi-user MIMO, and software-defined Radio (SDR). Professor Hefnawi is the founder and the leader of the SDR Section of the Communication Research Laboratory at RMC, which provides state-of-the-art SDR platforms. He is a contributing author of several refereed journals, chapters/book chapters, and proceeding papers related to the new generations of wireless communication systems.(f137ec23-87d8-45dc-9987-ac98833a17a0)
