Kayvan Miri LavassaniDr. Kayvan Miri Lavassani is an Associate Professor of business administration. He is the Michael P. Johnson Endowed Distinguished Scholar at the North Carolina Central University's School of Business (AACSB). Dr. Lavassani has worked with private, public, and third-sector organizations in areas of manufacturing, technology, international trade, and investment in the United States and internationally. He is the founder and director of the Innovation & Entrepreneurship Business Ecosystem Lab (IEBE Lab), where he promotes the study of business ecosystems using complex data and network analytics tools. He is a recipient of North Carolina Central University’s teaching award. Dr. Lavassani has received several awards honoring his research from prestigious research organizations in Canada, the United States, and the UK.
