Fandi Hamid

Fandi Hamid is working as a military Signal Officer in the Malaysian Armed Forces. He was born in Sarawak, Malaysia, in 1981. He received his Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical – Electronics) from the Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Johor, Malaysia, in 2003 and Master of Engineering (Telecommunications) from the Universiti Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in 2016. He is currently pursuing his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Johor, Malaysia. His research interest includes electromagnetic pulse (EMP), metamaterials, microwave antennas, and antenna theory.
