Eskinder Eshetu Ali

Eskinder Eshetu Ali is a pharmacist by training and has a BA in economics, a MSc in pharmacoepidemiology and social pharmacy, and a PhD in the design and evaluation of mobile technologies for medication management. He is currently an Assistant Professor of Social and Administrative Pharmacy at the Department of Pharmaceutics and Social Pharmacy, Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia. Dr. Ali has practical and research experience in the areas of mHealth, health technology assessment, quality evaluation of medication management mobile apps, healthcare financing and quality assurance of health and pharmaceutical services. He has published numerous articles in international peer reviewed journals. He has also served as consultant on a number of projects of national relevance in Ethiopia and has recently been selected for the Principal Investigator role for the ISPOR Africa Network Research Committee. Dr. Ali is also a member of the editorial support team of the Journal of Pharmaceutical Policy and Practice.
