Dimitra V. Katsarou

Dimitra V. Katsarou is an Assistant Professor of Developmental Psychopathology and Language Disorders at the Department of Preschool Education Sciences and Educational Design (TEPAES) of the University of the Aegean. She holds three master's degrees, a doctorate and postdoctoral research. She has taught in universities in Greece and abroad in undergraduate and postgraduate programs for a number of years. She has published over 30 articles in scientific journals such as: British Journal of Special Education, International Journal of Language and Communication Disorders, International Journal of Disability, Development and Education, over 100 abstracts in proceedings of international and pan-Hellenic conferences, she has written a monograph, many studies and four edited volumes. She is academically responsible for education, training and education programs of Greek and international organizations and participates as a key researcher in Greek and international research programs, such as Erasmus Plus, Alliance edu, Cost.eu, Erasmus Sport. Her research interests focus on intellectual disability, child and adult psychopathology, genetic syndromes, developmental disorders, quality of life, mental health and developmental language disorders.
